BIOGRAPHY
Dr. Bandari is the Medical Director and Chief of Neuro-Immunology at the MS & Neuro-Immunology Center of California & Research Group.
He is a Clinical Professor of Neurology and Neuro-Immunology and the previous Director of the Neuro-Immunology Division at USC Keck School of Medicine. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Cell and Molecular Biology from California State University and his Doctor of Medicine from American University. Following his Neurology residency and Neuro-Immunology fellowship at USC, he joined the USC faculty, contributing to clinical care, high science research, and medical education. Dr. Bandari’s clinical and research focus is on immunological and inflammatory causes of neurodevelopmental disorders, particularly in children and adolescents. He advances neural-protection and neural-regeneration strategies in order to improves patient outcomes and quality of life. He has led numerous multicenter clinical trials on emerging therapies in neural-immunology.
An internationally recognized educator, he has published widely and presented at leading global conferences. He is a member of the American Academy of Neurology, American Neurological Association, and American Medical Association. He is a medical advisor to The Brain Foundation and serves on multiple nonprofit boards.
